"I am both stronger and more flexible"

I had spine surgery in 2003 and didn’t do any exercise for way too long. I came to CrossFit HVL as a personal training client at the end of 2015 and began working out three days a week. I had been struggling with back spasms and sciatic pain. Shelly began working with me on core strength and flexibility, and eventually added in weightlifting to my program. I feel like a completely different person than I was in 2015. I am both stronger and more flexible, and I can do whatever I want now with confidence that I’m not going to re-injure myself. I no longer take a blood pressure medication that I thought I would be on forever, and after a recent EKG the doctor said I had an athlete’s strong heart. Thanks Shelly!
